Amazing saves by Brown and Cannon highlight 0-0 draw between the Revs and Rapids
DENVER, COL. (5/7/04)- Both the New England Revolution (1-2-2) and Colorado Rapids (1-1-3) had a few great goal scoring opportunities, but poor shot placement and amazing saves by goalkeepers Adin Brown and Joe Cannon kept both teams off the score sheet. For the third straight game the Revs have been playing with the same makeshift back-line and midfield and have only allowed 2 goals in those 3 games, while going undefeated in that stretch. The Rapids extended an undefeated streak of their own, going undefeated in their last 15 home games and tying the MLS record in front of an extremely poor attendance of 7,784. The tie was a very good result for the Revs considering they were forced to play a man down for over 15 minutes after Shalrie Joseph was ejected in the 75th minute. |

The Revs makeshift back-line once again held strong in a very physical match and held the Galaxy scoreless until the last seconds of stoppage time. |
